13.07.2014.  KRYPTON OCEAN GROUP started preparatory procedures to obtain a licensed site within the Clarion-Clipperton Zone

KRYPTON OCEAN GROUP has started to prepare the documentation needed to file its application for allocation of a licensed site within the Clarion-Clipperton Zone in the Pacific Ocean. The license is required for any prospecting and exploration activities at a particular site of the oceanic bottom and issued by the International Seabed Authority. The Authority regulates any and all operations in deep-sea areas beyond national jurisdictions in accordance with the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea. The Convention was adopted in 1982 and came into force in 1994, having determined the rights and obligations of states in all parts of the World Ocean, from the coast to the bosom of the sea.

At the same time, we are holding negotiations with governments of several countries one of which will be acting as a guarantor of our application. The guarantor is needed in compliance with the comprehensive requirements of the International Seabed Authority to its potential and current contractors.

KRYPTON possesses all necessary information, technical, scientific and professional resources needed to obtain a status of the contractor of the International Seabed Authority.
