Chain-Bucket Hydraulic Mining Tool

The nodules are harvested with a chain-bucket hydraulic tool, 10 meters wide. The rotating chain buckets collect the nodules and send them to the hopper, from where the nodules are conveyed by an elevator to the storage tank in the vehicle.

The collecting buckets dip into the bottom with clamping devices, and the nodules are harvested using hydraulic mechanisms. The extracted nodules are held in the clamping device. The chain unit moves upwards, taking the collected nodules without sludge or clay.
